Hack and Slash Comment

Teena was a pleasure to work with. She listened very carefully to the details of my design needs and worked very quickly to turn around a great design. She was quick to respond to my emails and calls and helped my company stay on track with a tight production schedule!

School Starts & Sick Season Begins

Well my daughter & I are officially sick with a piecing sore throat and miserable cold! Yippy! I forgot when school starts so does the sick season for my family. I can’t concentrate long enough of my computer to do anything. I will rest & do work tomorrow. Please let this go away fast!

School has Started – Yikes!

I’m in the 2nd day of my daughter’s first week of school. It’s now time to live that insane schedule. Up (HAPPY) at 6 am / out the door by 7:30 am to drop Tye off at school by 8:00 am / help at Tye’s school until 9:oo am / work at hot spots until 11:30 am then pick-up little one by 11:45 am / we both head to the library (hot spot) work some more while she plays and reads / head back home around 4:30 pm / dinner by 7:00 pm / kid in bed by 8:30 pm / YES! Now it’s my time – sometimes! / put myself to bed by 11 pm. O’h yeah, some where in between SNACK & READ! Working mothers!  It always amazes me how we get everything done!! Love to all you working mom’s at there 🙂

Got My Hack & Slash Samples Today

PrintingForLess.com did a great job printing the Hack & Slash Theatre Company project! The colors are fabulous, but I find out that this is not a postcard at all. It is just an 8.5 x 5.5 flyer hand-out printed on 80# glass text. I will need to update my samples.:-) It’s amazing how just a small difference in paper type can change your whole product into something else. Anyways, the client was very pleased. I enjoyed working with Spencer very much! I do hope to work with his company in the near future.

We’ve moved! Now what do I do with my outdated brochures?

Parent Approved has a slight problem. They printed thousands of brochures then had to move their place of business. Now having a new address, this leaves their left over brochures (2000+) stating the wrong address. What do they do now? Three choices: 1) reprint and recycle the old ones, flushing your money down the toilet. 2) Design color labels, have them printed, then throw a LABEL PLACING PARTY! 3) Keep passing out the old ones and note your new address. Well, we are going with choice #2! Hopefully the final printed label colors will match the brochure. Going about the problem this way, you are mostly out of personal time, that was spent placing the new labels over the old address.
