Well I have a client who needs to have several generic business forms made. The only thing is, they need to look nice and clean and be editable in MICROSOFT WORD! Now, I am not an expert in Word – not even close. Designing in word scares me to death! I do know enough to get myself in trouble though. Really the only thing that needed to be editable was company info and placing in personalized logo images. So I figured I would build the main part of the business form in another design program, make a high quality PDF/JPG and place into word as a picture from file. Then add my boxes for editable info/images on top. Word didn’t like this idea. When you printed the back image looked like crap. The text was not readable. So I was forced to learn how to make tables in Word and fine-tune my text box/image skills. After a long frustrating time – I GOT IT! I did find out I hate nudging things in Word. Every nudge is huge and it’s very hard to line things up together. This is what I ended up with . . .
